Juggler News

The ND Jugglers defeated the defending Section 3 Class B champs Adirondack 3-1 on Wednesday. Great pitching, defense and timely hitting helped propel the Jugglers to victory. Matt Kelly got the win and Zach Brush got the 5 out save. Eli Neth hit a 2 run triple and Deondre Linder had 2 hits.

On Monday April 22nd, the Notre Dame Jugglers Varsity Baseball Team will be playing the Camden Blue Devils at 4:30 at Notre Dame.  This game will have special meaning for many involved.   Both teams will be playing for two young men who sacrificed everything for their country.  This game is dedicated to Sgt. Christopher C. Simpson (US Army) and Sgt. Eli Parker (USMC).  Both men were killed in action defending our nation during the Iraq War.

Notre Dame will be playing for Sgt. Simpson. He is the nephew of Coach Manganaro’s wife, Theresa Manganaro.  Camden will be playing for Eli Parker. He graduated from Camden Central Schools.   Both teams will be wearing camouflage uniforms and each team will wear patches representing these heroes.

The Notre Dame  JROTC Color Guard will present the Colors at 4:15 to start the event.  Chris and Eli’s Gold Star Mothers,  Kate McLaughlin and Donna Parker, will be throwing out the first pitch.

Please come out and support our Jugglers and our fallen heroes.
