The 2019 Notre Dame Varsity Baseball Team is official. We welcome them to a storied program with a lot of tradition.

This team has some high goals and are working hard to make some noise this year.

We also named TWO Captains for this year's team. Congratulations to Zack Brush and Deondre Linder. These are two young men who are leaders on and off the field. I can't think of any two men who deserve this more than them. Their work ethic is second to none and they are great role models for our future players at ND. With that said, we have some other seniors who have the potential to be great leaders on this team as well. So don't be surprised if more captains are named as the season goes on.

Tonight was the first practice with our varsity team and they were focused and working hard. Our JV team also started things off tonight and will be under the leadership of Coach Lynch. The future is bright at ND. Congratulations to all.
